Poker tournaments are currently suspended at Tropicana. Before the pandemic, there were two no limit hold’em tournaments daily. The buy-in was $50. The times were 11:15am and 7:15pm.
Tropicana Atlantic City poker promotions
There are four promotions available at the Tropicana poker room. One is a bad beat jackpot. It has a four of a kind qualifier that gets lower as the jackpot grows. It was quad eights for $10,000, as of April 1, 2024.
High hands run daily from noon to midnight. The prize is $300 per hour. The minimum qualifying hand is aces full of kings. If no player makes that hand during an hour of the promotion, $300 rolls into the next hour’s prize.
A player that makes a royal flush using both hole cards receives $100 any time the poker room is open. This is in addition to any high hand promotion running at the time.
Loyal players receive rakeback based on the number of hours played during a month. The list below shows the number of hours required and the cash payouts. Payouts are available from the second of the next month through the end of the month.
- 50-89 hours: $75
- 90-129 hours: $150
- 130 or more hours: $300
