New Jersey Best Online Poker Bonus Update

Poker at Tropicana Atlantic CityPoker at Tropicana Atlantic City. May 2021

New Jersey online poker players have the largest selection of sites compared to all other states where it is legal. Players may choose between BetMGM, Borgata Poker, Partypoker, PokerStars, World Series of Poker, 888 and Pala Poker. BetMGM, Borgata and Partypoker are on the same network. The same can be said of WSOP and 888. PokerStars is an independent site. Pala Poker is small. It only deals tournaments.

WSOP and 888 network players in Delaware and Nevada with its New Jersey online poker platform. No other sites have interstate online poker player pools. However, with the addition of Michigan into the interstate online poker compact, BetMGM, and PokerStars figure to expand in 2023.

Best online poker bonuses for New Jersey players

All New Jersey poker sites offer players a bonus on their first deposit. Here is a list of the best ones available in the state. These poker sites are hosted in Atlantic City and are licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement

BetMGM and Borgata Poker have the best online poker bonuses in New Jersey. Both offer new players 100% up to $1,000 in bonuses. Players also receive up to $75 in tournament tickets, depending on the size of the first deposit. These sites share player pools. Players may claim both bonuses without penalty.

The 100% up to $1,000 poker bonus expires 120 days after depositing. The deposit must be made within seven days of creating the account. Ten separate bonuses are awarded. Each is 10% of the deposit amount. It clears at a rate of $1.91 in rake or tournament fees paid per dollar in bonus. This is equal to 52% rakeback. If a player clears an increment, it is theirs. Any amount not cleared within 120 days expires.

Players depositing up to $499 receive $25 in tournament tickets at both BetMGM Poker and Borgata Poker. Deposits of $500 up to $999 receive $50 in tournament tickets. A $1000 or larger deposit receives $75 in free tournament tickets. The tournament tickets are awarded within seven days of a new deposit. These must be used in 14 days after being added to the player’s account.

Borgata has an advantage in New Jersey because it has the largest poker room in Atlantic City. The other two poker rooms in town are much smaller.

PokerStars New Jersey bonus

PokerStars offers players two bonuses. Players may choose between $50 in free tournament tickets or a 100% up to $600 deposit bonus. The $50 in free tournament tickets are awarded in three phases: On day one, players receive two $5 Spin & Go tickets. These are three-player lottery sit and gos where the prize pool is determined by a random number generator. Players receive two more $5 Spin & Go tickets on day three, as well as a $10 tournament ticket that may be used for anything on the schedule with that buy-in. Day five awards two $10 tournament tickets.

WSOP New Jersey deposit bonus

WSOP is the worst New Jersey poker site in terms of software, support, and management. We do not recommend playing there until the company can demonstrate that it cares about its customers. Players receive a 100% up to $1,000 first deposit bonus. It releases in $10 increments for every $50 in cash game or tournament rake paid. That is equal to 20% rakeback. Players have 90 days to clear the bonus before it expires. The player keeps any increment that is released before the expiration date.

WSOP is the only New Jersey poker site that is interstate. Delaware and Nevada players are on the same platform. This makes it the largest of the New Jersey poker sites. However, that certainly does not make it the best.
